Key job responsibilities

Develop comprehensive financial models and performance tracking metrics that provide strategic insights for Prime Video's leadership Partner with global finance teams to drive precise forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis across diverse business segments Prepare strategic analyses, reports, and recommendations that directly influence business strategy and investment decisions Manage and report on headcount and operating expenses with meticulous attention to detail Collaborate cross-functionally to support data-driven decision-making processes

A day in the life

Your day will be a blend of strategic analysis, collaborative problem-solving, and financial storytelling. You'll dive into complex financial models, translate data into compelling insights, and partner with global teams to illuminate the financial pathways of our streaming ecosystem. Every analysis you create will help chart the course for Prime Video's continued growth and innovation.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)

3+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience

2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience

Experience building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience

Preferred Qualifications

MBA, or CPA

3+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience

Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results,

Strong track record of managing deliverables from multiple partner teams to meet challenging deadlines,

The ability to self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment with competing deadlines,

Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to work with a high degree of autonomy.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
