Description We are looking for an experienced Medical Malpractice Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to legal cases involving medical malpractice, providing essential support to attorneys in civil litigation. Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys in preparing for medical malpractice trials, including organizing exhibits and drafting trial materials.

Conduct thorough discovery processes, including gathering evidence and managing documentation.

Manage case files and ensure all records are accurately maintained and easily accessible.

Coordinate with medical experts and witnesses to support case development.

Utilize case management software to track deadlines, assignments, and critical case information.

Draft and review legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and correspondence.

Perform legal research to support case arguments and strategies.

Collaborate with the legal team to ensure compliance with civil litigation procedures.

Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive client information. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in medical malpractice or civil litigation.

Proficiency in discovery processes and legal documentation.

Strong knowledge of trial preparation and litigation procedures.

Hands-on experience with case management software.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to conduct legal research and draft accurate documents.

Effective communication skills to liaise with attorneys, clients, and witnesses.

High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
