A fast-growing construction firm has teamed up with Robert Half to hire a Staff Accountant to support its expanding finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term accounting career within a supportive and growth-oriented organization.

Position Highlights:

Reports directly to the Controller

Works closely with accounting leadership on daily operations

Offers exposure to multiple facets of accounting- ideal for someone eager to grow

Friendly, team-driven culture with a focus on detail-oriented development and mentorship

Key Responsibilities:

Perform account reconciliations and monthly closing duties

Maintain and update the general ledger

Prepare and post journal entries

Manage day-to-day transactions for: AP, AR, Billing and Invoicing

Support internal financial reporting processes

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related discipline

2+ years of hands-on accounting experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level or higher)

Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset

Prior experience in construction or project-based industries is a plus, but not require
