Robert Half Management Resources is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to support an interim client engagement in Miamisburg, Ohio. This role requires expertise in financial reporting, reconciliation, and general ledger management. This is a 6 month contract engagement providing a variety of general Sr. Accountant tasks to include: journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, audit support, and indirect tax. This role is based 100% onsite at the client's location in Miamisburg, OH.

Responsibilities:

Oversee month-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.

Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are correctly documented.

Prepare and review journal entries to support accurate financial reporting.

Conduct thorough account reconciliations to ensure data integrity and compliance.

Perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.

Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting operations and improve efficiency.

Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries.

Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements - Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting.

Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entries.

Proficiency in conducting account and bank reconciliations.

Familiarity with accounting standards and regulatory compliance.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
