1st Shift General Production Worker-$19/hr

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated production workers for our 1st shift to join a dynamic team in a busy manufacturing facility. The successful candidates will engage in various tasks across the assembly, milling, and staging areas. Responsibilities include picking and packing products, loading and unloading pallets, sweeping and cleaning the milling area, and providing assistance in other areas as required. This position offers the opportunity for cross-training in multiple areas.

Responsibilities

Assist in assembly, milling, and staging areas.

Pick and pack products efficiently.

Load and unload pallets safely.

Perform cleaning duties in the milling area.

Assist in additional tasks as needed across the production floor.

Participate in cross-training for various production tasks.

Essential Skills

Ability to lift and maneuver 50lbs.

Capability to work on feet throughout the day.

Experience in general labor and production tasks.

Proficiency in packaging and assembly processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in a cleanroom or similar environment is advantageous.

Willingness to be cross-trained in different areas.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate-controlled environment, experiencing hot conditions, especially in the milling department where flour is processed. The job requires adaptability to a dirty and hot environment. The first shift operates from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denton, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
