Description We are looking for a skilled Supply Chain Management Specialist to join our team in West Hartford, Connecticut. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in analyzing supply chain operations, optimizing processes, and driving vendor performance improvements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in supply chain logistics and financial analysis.

Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed supply chain analyses to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.

Perform vendor reduction evaluations to streamline supplier relationships and improve cost-effectiveness.

Analyze spending patterns to uncover opportunities for cost savings and improved financial management.

Optimize supply chain processes to enhance operational performance and reduce inefficiencies.

Collaborate with vendors to ensure alignment with performance standards and quality expectations.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster long-term partnerships.

Monitor and evaluate vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.

Provide insights and recommendations based on data-driven assessments of supply chain activities.

Support cross-functional teams in implementing supply chain improvement initiatives. Requirements - Proven experience in supply chain management with a focus on process optimization.

Strong understanding of supply chain logistics and best practices.

Demonstrated ability to perform financial analysis and interpret complex data.

Expertise in managing vendor relationships and ensuring supplier performance.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and propose solutions.

Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external suppliers.

Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
