Description We are looking for a meticulous Office Assistant to join our team in Stamford, Connecticut. In this Contract to Permanent position, you will play a key role in supporting legal and administrative processes, ensuring the accuracy and completion of estate planning documents. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in a collaborative and focused environment.

Responsibilities:

Review and finalize estate planning documents, charts, and correspondence with precision.

Gain knowledge of estate planning concepts through training, enabling you to draft related documents as needed.

Collaborate with attorneys and administrative staff to track the progress of estate plans, identify outstanding items, and drive completion.

Handle requests for new estate planning assignments, update tracking logs, and issue timely reminders for due dates.

Act as a witness or notary public during document execution conferences, maintaining a Notary Public commission in your state of residence.

Perform receptionist duties, including managing inbound calls and greeting visitors.

Scan, organize, and file documents to ensure efficient record-keeping.

Complete general clerical tasks to support office operations. Requirements - Previous experience in office administration or legal support roles.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Proficiency in using office equipment and software for document processing.

Excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented approach.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Notary Public commission or willingness to obtain one.

Familiarity with estate planning concepts is a plus.
