Fields Service Engineer with 100% Travel

Our client, a global leader in precision measurement equipment, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and calibrate machines at customer sites. This is a contract role with the potential to convert to a permanent position.

What's the Job?

100% travel position performing installation and machine maintenance, which includes assembly, disassembly, leveling, diagnosis, repair,certifications, and re-calibration of machines at customer sites in Pittsburgh, Harrisburg and York, PA areas.

You will provide the highest customer satisfaction while representing the company in a professional manner

What's Needed

100% Travel. Must have full availability to travel Mon-Fri week after week (out on Mondays, back home Fridays, only be home on weekends).

Need to have a reliable vehicle to use until a company van is available and have clean driving record

Should have mechanical and electrical experience

For mechanical skills, someone who works on their own car is a good fit, as is someone with experience as a mechanic or mechanical maintenance technician

On the electrical side, closed loop servo experience would be very helpful, as well as experience with a multi-meter and oscilloscope

Ability to read blueprints and schematics

Must be a US Citizen (to visit federal facilities under ITAR regulations)

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
