DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will engage in advanced-level tasks across multiple trades related to the maintenance, repair, and construction of park infrastructure, including buildings, facilities, and equipment. Your role encompasses a range of skilled activities in various trades such as building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, and masonry, all aimed at ensuring the effective upkeep and enhancement of park properties. Additionally, you may be called upon to assist in the operation of water and sewer facilities as necessary. Under the guidance of a supervisor, you will be responsible for liaising with vendors to obtain price quotes, calculating the costs of materials and equipment, estimating the labor hours needed for project completion, and preparing necessary documentation for supervisory review and approval. Furthermore, you will take on a leadership role, guiding Park Maintenance Workers, Laborers, and other staff members throughout the execution of various projects.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This position may require overtime. Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration): or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.

Special Requirements:

This position will require possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.

Other Requirements: PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
