Job Summary: This position is a strategic and people-focused leader responsible to lead and evolve our talent strategy in alignment with organizational goals. This position partners with the Chief Human Resources Officer to drive excellence across all HR functions, with an emphasis on recruitment, retention, employee engagement, training and development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). The role is responsible in the development, oversight, and coordination of comprehensive policies, programs and guidelines to maintain alignment with the strategic goals of the company while aligning with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Responsibilities Lead and manage all activities relating to the following areas: recruitment, retention, employee relations, and training. This includes hiring, mentoring, performance management, retention, company culture and employee relations. Strategically support diversity, equity, and inclusion into the organization s talent and culture strategy, ensuring DEI principles are integrated across all HR programs, policies, and practices. Partner with the DEI Manager, CHRO, and senior leaders to drive measurable progress, foster an inclusive workforce, and build a culture where diverse perspectives are valued and where employee-owners can thrive. Collaborate with managers and department leaders to assess workforce needs and define skills and competencies required for open roles. Lead the HR team in executing a high-quality recruitment process including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring, ensuring timely placement of qualified and culturally aligned candidates. Advise and support managers in fostering a positive, engaged, and high-performance culture by promoting clear performance expectations, accountability, and ethical conduct. Oversee the development and implementation of performance management systems, including goal setting, coaching, and metrics-based evaluations. Partner with leaders and HR team to address employee relations matters, including performance, conduct, compensation, safety, and accommodations, ensuring alignment with company values, legal standards, and business objectives. Research, analyze, develop, recommend, and promote compensation program and practices to attract and retain top talent. Maintain and expand knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal and state laws/regulations affecting human resource management. Interpret appropriate laws and policies and communicate to management, team members, etc. Partner with CHRO and total rewards director to create a competitive compensation package for employee-owners. Regularly assess benefit offerings and communicate recommendations to maintain employee satisfaction and retention. Manage employee communication and feedback through various culture and satisfaction surveys. Participate in the strategic planning and oversight of the HR budget, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and the effective allocation of resources to support talent initiatives, workforce development, and employee-owner experience. Provide data-driven insights to guide investment decisions and optimize HR operations for impact and efficiency. Provides strategic leadership and direction to cross-functional committees and employee groups, fostering collaboration, engagement, and inclusive decision-making. Guide teams in driving initiatives that enhance organizational culture, strengthen interpersonal connections, and support business goals. Continuously monitor and study all Human Resources policies, programs and practices and communicate updates as needed of new developments. Oversee all aspects of employee onboarding process to ensure an organized, streamlined process for new hires to ensure an outstanding first impression of the company. Maintain a solid understanding of all legal and compliance issues as they pertain to this position. Complete training as required. Loss prevention and security as applicable for this position.
