Requirements

Who You Are:

We're looking for motivated candidates who are organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. Whether you're an experienced paralegal or an entry-level professional ready to grow in the legal field, this opportunity offers training, exposure to exciting legal work, and the chance to make a meaningful contribution.

Key Responsibilities:

Document Management: Proofread, draft, and organize legal documents, declarations, and affidavits; maintain and manage client files and create document libraries.

Case Handling: File documents electronically with District, Federal, and Bankruptcy courts; conduct PACER research and manage case status updates.

Administrative Support: Schedule meetings, appointments, and deadlines; assist attorneys with ad hoc legal projects and research.

Client and Team Communication: Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and client portals promptly and professionally.

Billing & Reporting: Prepare invoices, track attorney billable hours, organize payments, and generate remittance and collections reports.

Systems Use: Utilize and maintain case management systems (experience with CLIO preferred).

Project Support: Handle account placements, update statuses, perform debtor research, and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.

Qualifications:

A college degree is a plus but not mandatory.

Prior legal office experience is beneficial but not required-entry-level candidates are welcome!

Strong technological and organizational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
