We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Finance Manager with strong expertise in capital expenditure (CapEx) planning and forecasting. This role will lead financial oversight of capital projects, ensuring alignment with budget targets and timelines. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Excel, thrives on data manipulation, and has a deep understanding of CapEx accounting. This position will work closely with senior leadership to drive financial performance and project accountability.

Responsibilities

Lead financial planning and analysis for capital projects, including spend curve forecasting and timing of capital outflows.

Monitor project budgets to ensure alignment with financial targets, identifying and addressing risks of overspend or underspend.

Distinguish and manage CapEx allocations across multiple initiatives.

Build and maintain complex Excel models to track, analyze, and report on capital project performance.

Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure financial discipline and transparency.

Present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and actionable format.

Support ad hoc financial initiatives and scenario modeling.

Essential Skills

Advanced Excel skills, comfortable building and maintaining complex models and dashboards.

Strong understanding of CapEx accounting principles.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing senior stakeholders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

6-8 years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, with a strong focus on CapEx management.

Proven ability to manage capital spend curves and forecast timing of capital expenditures.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Work Environment

This position requires working four days in the office, with Fridays remote. The environment is fast-paced and project-driven, encouraging collaboration and innovation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
