Job Title: Shift Receiving Associate

Pay Rate: $19

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shift Receiving Associate to join our team. The role involves physically unloading products, verifying quantities, inspecting shipments, and accurately storing items in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

Physically unload products from trailers into the warehouse using hands.

Verify the quantity and description of products received by checking merchandise against the receiving label.

Inspect incoming shipments, reject damaged items, and appropriately report and record any damages through proper channels.

Attach identifying labels to products.

Safely load products onto a stock picker and transport them to assigned storage locations in the warehouse.

Accurately place products in designated warehouse storage locations.

Scan product and rack location labels into the company's computer operating system using Radio Frequency inventory control equipment, such as bar-coding equipment and handheld devices.

Distribute supplies and other non-warehouse products to appropriate departments or personnel.

Essential Skills

6+ months of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or laborer role.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 100 lbs.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Work Environment

The work environment requires continuous standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, gripping, lifting, pulling, and pushing throughout the shift. The role involves lifting or moving objects up to 110 pounds unassisted and up to 150 pounds with assistance. You will work in a typical warehouse environment, with exposure to various temperatures. The dress code is casual, but boots are required on the floor. 60% of the warehouse staff is bilingual.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Swansea, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
