We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrator to oversee administrative operations within a healthcare setting. This key role involves ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the medical office, supporting both patients and medical staff, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage daily administrative activities, including patient scheduling, record maintenance, and office workflow management.

Serve as the primary liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and support staff to ensure effective communication and customer satisfaction.

Oversee the use of electronic medical record (EMR) systems (e.g., Cerner, Epic) to ensure accurate and timely recordkeeping and data entry.

Manage medical billing processes and collections, working closely with billing and coding teams to address any discrepancies or issues.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, maintaining confidentiality of patient records (HIPAA compliance).

Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals, including preparing reports, correspondence, and performing general office duties.

Take responsibility for onboarding new administrative staff and providing training on processes and systems.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Proven experience in medical administration or a similar role, with strong knowledge of medical office procedures.

Proficiency in electronic medical record systems (e.g., Cerner, Epic) and scheduling software.

Familiarity with medical billing, coding, and collections processes.

Certifications such as Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) are highly desirable.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with excellent attention to detail.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing outstanding patient service.

Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
