Marketing Specialist - Email II

Our Client, a Software company, is looking for a Marketing Specialist - Email II for their Remote location. Responsibilities:

Develop email communication strategy with various internal stakeholders to identify proper approach to increase customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and growth;

Manage email campaigns in email service provider platform, including setup, testing, deployment, and reporting;

Conduct data segmentation against email database to create targeted lists for each email send. Work with internal stakeholders on targeting strategy;

Create automated, multi-touch, targeted customer lifecycle digital marketing programs;

Establish key metrics, create review cycle, and provide insights on customer intelligence;

Partner with creative and campaign teams to optimize template design and content;

Work with other digital marketing teams to develop cross-channel communication strategy;

Recommend and implement email best practices across the global organization

Requirements:

High energy with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure and tight deadlines in a fast paced, changing environment

3-5 years experience in either Email Marketing, Online Marketing, or Database Marketing

Experience creating and sending large scale email campaigns

Proven track record of meeting campaign performance goals

Demonstrated understanding of email marketing best practices

Experience with A/B test plan methodologies and reporting

Skilled in data analysis, and reporting results and presenting analysis.

Experience working with top-tier Email Service Provider (ESP) platforms (i.e. Client Marketing Cloud/ExactTarget, Eloqua, CheetahMail, Responsys, etc.).

Very strong knowledge of HTML / CSS. Comfortable reading, editing and making email design changes using Adobe Dreamweaver. Familiarity with Photoshop for image cropping a plus.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills and fundamentals based on data-driven marketing tactics. Familiarity with database management. Working knowledge of SQL a plus.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously.

Aside from the job description, can you provide an overview of what a day for this contractor will look like

Typical day would be a couple internal meetings or customer meetings, working on email content (processing, QA, providing feedback, supporting questions from clients, pulling data and analyzing to provide back to the client
