As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity within the location.
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior in a tech, media, and telecom environment.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences during patrols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during critical situations.
Remain alert and observant to help to deter potential threats to people, property, and information within the location.
What We're Looking For:
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Must have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
Must have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
