As an Accounting Supervisor you will: Lead Accounting Technicians and Payroll. Ensure compliance with GAAP and GASB. Direct, determine, and manage accounting staff, training, resources, and equipment needs for financial operations. Ensure compliance with personnel rules, regulations, and policies. Responsible for the oversite of accounts receivable and accounts payable. Manage travel and procard expense reports in the new SABHRS Travel and Expense system. Review various reports and queries to identify errors. Recommend solutions and perform corrections when necessary. Oversee the bi-weekly payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Investigate errors and recommend solutions. Identify trends, discrepancies, and process improvement opportunities. Support Accounting Bureau Chief with day-to-day operations.
