Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Chardon, Ohio. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing financial records and ensuring accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and bring a strong foundation in accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.

Manage the general ledger, ensuring proper categorization and reconciliation of accounts.

Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including timely payments and collections.

Conduct month-end close procedures to ensure accurate reporting of financial data.

Perform monthly bank reconciliations to maintain consistency in financial records.

Utilize advanced Excel functions, such as Pivot Tables, for data analysis and reporting.

Collaborate with team members to review financial statements and identify discrepancies.

Work with accounting software, including QuickBooks and EstiTrack, to streamline operations. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.

2-4 years of experience in an accounting role with strong attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and Pivot Tables.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members.

Familiarity with QuickBooks and EstiTrack systems is a plus.

Solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes.
