About the position

Goodwin House Hospice is seeking an articulate, motivated and high-energy individual with experience in hospice marketing strategy who will ensure comprehensive community outreach about hospice services.

Job Duties

Generate referrals for hospice by building relationships with physicians, long term care, independent and assisted living facilities and other community resources.

Conduct market analyses; develop sales strategy and goals in collaboration with the hospice executive director and other senior leaders.

Conduct marketing/ sales calls, and evaluate results and effectiveness of sales activity.

Support business development activities and help establish strong relationships with new and existing referral sources.

Market research plans for our services; collaborate on brand positioning, databases, and direct response.

Qualifications

As a liaison with the community, excels and models professional and customer-service oriented values representing the mission and vision of Goodwin House Hospice.

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in communications, business or marketing.

Preferably one year of recent marketing experience in hospice; with at least three years total of marketing in the health care industry.

Proven ability to develop and implement a sales and marketing plan.

Evidence of achieving referral goals within the market.

Excellent planning, organization and presentation skills are critical.

Outstanding customer service, verbal, and written skills required.

Able to work independently and in a collaborative team environment

Able to perform detailed work with a high degree of accuracy

Able to maintain confidentiality of data.

Demonstrated computer skills for documents, spreadsheets and database management and ability to learn new electronic medical record software.
