tMagic (Check21) Finance Consultant
What does a successful tMagic (Check 21) Finance Consultant do?
The Finance/tMagic Consultant is a self-motivated individual that will manage the transition of client's batch processing and transaction authorization functions from their existing core to the DNA platform as well as install and train Fiserv's tMagic, Check21 product. The candidate will assist clients with training and workflow assessment to ensure all aspects of the operation job functions are easily transitioned, and we prepare the client to manage their system independently. Candidate will also be expected to provide recommendations and consultation to existing client who engage our expertise for professional service engagements.
What you will do :
Support consulting team
Configure and Implement DNA Core Processing Functionality
Document client and internal discussions and decisions
Execute specific duties and groups of work as assigned
Manage/resolve a fixed percentage of Service cases, prepare and escalate others to higher levels within the team
Test new features and functionality of the DNA product suite
Engage with clients and evaluate Readiness for conversion
Ensure client satisfaction
Assess each client's nightly, monthly and quarterly processing schedule to assist the client in creating a processing schedule in the DNA system assuring same or similar functionality of client's prior system.
Assess each client's system authorizations by resource role to assist the client in creating a system and transaction authority in the DNA system assuring same or similar functionality of client's prior system, this would include security access to application screens and processes as well as override authorities.
Assists the client to define proper institution parameter and system settings, including but not limited to statement processing and basic notices.
Responsible for pre-conversion remote and on-site client assistance to ensure data integrity, which may include third party interfaces.
Diagnose and recommend solutions to issues.
Responsible for assisting clients in writing business specs for custom processes.
Responsible to assist client in testing any applicable custom code.

What you will need to have:
5+ years in subject area of expertise within the financial industry
5+ years of experience in MS office tools
DNA or other core processing system experience required
Subject Matter Expertise in one of the following areas:
Finance and Accounting
Back Office Processing
Deposit Operations
Retail Deposit
Core system Administration
What would be great to have:
Associates degree in business administration or other related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
2+ years of DNA core process system experience
2+ years of experience working in an operations center at a bank or credit union including both front and back-office environments
Prior conversion experience
SQL knowledge
How you will work:
This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
This role requires flexibility to work overtime that includes weekends and holidays.
Travel Required :
Ability to travel up to 15%, may include weekend and holidays
Salary Range
$72,400.00 - $124,100.00
These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey, New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
