Job Title: Engineering Administrative AssistantJob Description

This position provides organizational and administrative support to the Director overseeing the estimating and sales team. The role involves monitoring an inbox for various RFQs and customers to ensure the appropriate manager or team member receives them. Additionally, the assistant will manage the director's calendar and assist with organizational projects for customers, such as printing proposals and documents, organizing blueprints and drawings, and handling related files. The position requires performing administrative and organizational tasks for the estimating department.

Responsibilities

Monitor inbox for RFQs and customer inquiries.

Ensure proper assignment of queries to the estimating team.

Manage the director's calendar and day-to-day activities.

Assist with organizational projects for customers.

Print proposals and documents as needed.

Organize blueprints, drawings, and related files.

Perform administrative tasks for the estimating department.

Maintain constant communication with the estimating team and manager.

Collaborate with another member of the administrative support team.

2+ years working in an administrative support position

Exposure to a manufacturing or engineering environment is a plus

Work Environment

The role is based in an office environment alongside the estimating and sales teams. The assistant will work closely with another senior administrative team member who will provide training and support. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
