WSP USA has a career opportunity for a Construction Materials Laboratory Technician to join our Phoenix, AZ team to support construction materials testing for mining, transportation and other construction related projects.

Your Impact

Will perform asphalt, soil, aggregate, concrete, and material testing primarily Operate construction materials laboratory testing equipment Perform analysis and/or calculations to check accuracy of test data Data input for report preparation and submittal to clients Perform equipment calibrations as needed Perform maintenance on equipment as needed

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

At least 3 years of construction material lab experience

Self-motivated and willing to learn

Ability to read & interpret specifications

Ability to lift 50 pounds - Will routinely lift and carry materials and equipment

Must pass background check

Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel

At least one of the following certifications

ACI Aggregate Testing Technician-Level 1 ACI Strength Testing Technician ATTI Asphalt Testing Technician or equivalent ATTI Soils and Aggregate Testing Technician or equivalent
