Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Operations Manager to lead daily operations within our Cash Services team. This ideal candidate will have hands on leadership experience with a strong background in team engagement, process and technology improvement, conflict resolution, coaching and compliance. In this role, this Operations Manager will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely processing while also building team capabilities and managing long term capacity needs.
This is an onsite position with a Monday - Friday schedule and we need someone who can be flexible with start times, which may vary daily, weekly and or monthly (e.g. 6:00am, 7:00am, or 8:00am). An ideal candidate is flexible, dependable, and thrives in a team-oriented environment where daily task may vary.
Key Responsibilities :
Led, coach and support of 11-12 vault processors across multiple shifts.
Build an engage and accountable team culture through daily communications, meeting, recognition and team practices.
Monitor and evaluate operations for efficiency, compliance and safety, intervene, or escalate when needed.
Implement best practices and process improvement to increase engagement, production, and accuracy to reduce risk.
Analyze volumes of trends, forecasting data to plan for staffing, space and equipment needs.
Ensure adherence to all regulations, client services and reporting.
May have direct contact with third-party vendors and/or external customers.
Research exceptions and escalate issues to management as appropriate.
Track and report metrics.
Coach and conduct performance review, deliver corrective feedback, and support career development.
Foster a learning environment that encourages training, upskilling, and continuous improvement.
Service as a liaison between, IT, Vendors and Clients.
Lead the development, roll out and adoption of new system, process, and tools within work environment.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Typically three or more years of relevant experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
3 or more years of operations experience specifically within a cash handling armor transport, adjustments, or bank setting.
3 or more years of proven leadership experience and motivating teams in a fast paced, highly regulated, and secured environment
Excellent communication, coaching and conflict resolution skills
Ability to work flexible hours and manage multiple priorities
Good organizational, managerial and project management skills
Well-developed customer relations skills
Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
Excellent supervisory and management skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks
Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Teams and other tools such as Eva, SharePoint, ETC.
Six Sigma background or foundational training.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $75,820.00 - $89,200.00
