Role Overview

The Good Eating Company is seeking an ever-curious culinarians for our food innovation to craft an authentic chef-driven program for our client in the following cities in Virgina, Bristow, Leesburg, and Sterling.

This is a hands-on, innovative Executive Chef role that will focus on fresh ingredients to growing the culinary program with our client. We are obsessed with local products, scratch cooking, great food and being best in class. We seek a strong culinary leader with a proven commitment to innovation, teamwork, and collaboration to help us achieve our vision.This position is a great step for a Sous Chef who is looking to advance their career.

These positions offers a Monday - Friday schedule

What You'll Do

Ensure all food always looks and tastes great and is visually appetizing when served

Are strong all-round culinary ability and strong craft skills in all areas of professional cookery, including; main courses; salads and sauce work

Have a strong knowledge of food and able to cook using multiple styles of cuisine

Recognizing and reacting to contemporary trends

Use of correct food terminology and cooking methods

Constantly looking for new recipes and new ideas and initiatives that will improve both the quality of food and service as a whole

Play a key role and enthusiastically mentor's culinary personnel

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
