Summary of Position:

This position provides essential support to the Associate Dean of Workforce Education, Academic Outreach, and Lifelong Learning by managing a diverse range of administrative tasks. This role involves assisting with scheduling, correspondence, and report preparation, as well as maintaining records for continuing education and personal enrichment courses to include College for Kids programming. They collaborate closely with the Associate Dean to support program oversight, grant administration, and public relations efforts, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with institutional priorities. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders are crucial in this role.

Minimum Required Education:

High School diploma or GED required.

Minimum Required Experience:

Four years wage earning clerical experience, OR certification / successful completion of relevant trade school OR (30 Credits) and one year wage earning clerical experience.

A copy of certificates and/or college transcripts required with application for evaluation purposes.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office

Proficiency in grammar, punctuation, spelling, sentence structure, and document filing.

Strong data entry and word processing skills with high accuracy.

Effective team collaboration and interpersonal skills.

Experience handling sensitive information and financial transactions.

Skilled in engaging with the public, students, faculty, and college staff professionally.

Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Must have clear written and verbal communication skills.

Hours:

Full-time, indicate working hours - Mon-Thur 7:30-5:30 Fri 7:30-11:30
