Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Retail Food Operations Manager 1 for Lowell General Hospital located in Lowell, MA . In this role, you will report to the Operations Manager 2, and be part of the leadership team overseeing a team of approximately 8 hospital employees. The schedule for this role will be 12:00pm - 8:30pm, including rotational weekend coverage every other weekend.

Lowell General Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital serving the Greater Lowell area and surrounding communities. With two primary campuses located in Lowell, Massachusetts, Lowell General Hospital offers the latest state-of-the-art technology and a full range of medical and surgical services for patients, from newborns to seniors.

What You'll Do

coordinate all required tasks, and managing scheduling through frontline staff

deliver high quality food services including retail, patient meal management, and catering

achieve company and client financial targets and goals

ensure compliance with HACCP, regulatory and Sodexo standards

have daily interaction with fellow managers and clinical team to ensure satisfaction

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degreeor equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
