Job Description:
Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Finance Director, Global IM R&D Digital Innovation to be located in Raritan, NJ, Titusville, NJ or Spring House, PA.
The Finance Director, Global IM R&D Digital Innovation will play a meaningful role driving the strategy, tactics, and execution of R&D's digital enhancement strategic imperative, fueling deeper business insights and functional efficiency. This position will work closely with the Global IM R&D business and finance teams to deliver the IM R&D Systems Roadmap, including the TransAct deployment, Beacon upgrade to S/4HANA, and enhancement of key R&D data, reporting and analytics for R&D-specific processes. The Finance Director will be responsible for crafting R&D technology and processes to unlock actionable insights for R&D portfolio optimization and value creation, while ensuring actuals maintain integrity and the business is not disrupted during the digital transformation.
A successful candidate will have Innovative Medicine portfolio acuity, a solid understanding of data relationships across Beacon and IM R&D planning systems, an in-depth understanding of the financial statements, and a strong ability to zoom in and out to seamlessly move from detailed design to executive presentation.
Key Objectives and Responsibilities:
Maintain the Global IM R&D Integrated Systems Roadmap, updating and evolving it as needed based on new lessons/developments
Partner with SigniFi on implementing the TransAct deployment
Partner with R&D Technology and Global Development/PMO on:
Data integrity and governance, including the identification and development of critical data sets, verification of data, resolution of discrepancies and/or improvement of processes based on the root cause of the discrepancies - ensuring conformance with enterprise standards and business needs
Development of enhanced reporting on the "R&D Insights" financial reporting platform
Deploy the updated R&D S/4HANA ensuring shared data elements with the J&J Common Information Model to enable cross Innovative Medicine data connections, reporting and analytics, where appropriate.
Lead a team of direct and indirect reports across Innovative Medicine to problem-solve identified fit-gap items to deliver win/win solutions
Own measurement of outcomes and optimization of resources
Provide effective coaching and direction to team through developmental mentorship and performance evaluation, building a high performing, engaged team
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree required; Advance degree preferred (MBA)
10+ years of professional experience as a Finance Business Partner, with extensive experience in a cross-functional environment
Experience in supporting high value strategic projects, providing exceptional insights and business judgement
Consistent track record of implementing innovation projects
Proven ability to track financials across financial statements, identify risks and opportunities early, and define mitigation measures / acceleration plans where needed
Experience leading and working in a fast-paced multifaceted environment
Ability to influence senior leadership, motivate change, and build followership, passion and alignment
International perspective, Multicultural thinking
Focus on delivering commitments with high attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills, and capable to communicate sophisticated financial concepts to non-Finance colleagues
Must be highly organized with the ability to lead multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and successfully prioritize them. Attention to detail required.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills; tenacity to learn, analyze, and resolve situations

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$146,000-$251,850
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
