Job Title: Warehouse / Packaging Associate
Location: Manchester, New Jersey
Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $18 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 6 am to 2:30 pm
Warehouse / Packaging Associate Responsibilities:
Must be available for IMMEDIATE start
Prepare packages for shipment which includes a 30lb clay pot and associated accessories (training provided)
Double check quality of clay pot to assure no visible cracks or flaking
Properly package items, double checking to be sure each required accessory is included
Prints destination labels, return shipping labels and safely palletizes product
Fill out accurately the necessary daily documentation pertaining to shipments
Assists courier with loading items on to trucks (FedEx and UPS drivers).
Brings cracks, flaked, or otherwise damaged clay pots to designated area for re-use/scrap
Provides accurate shipment numbers for day.
Warehouse / Packaging Associate Requirements
Must be available for IMMEDIATE start
High school diploma or equivalent
Read, speak and write English
Completes provided Safety training
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted using both arms
Drives a forklift only if he/she has had forklift training
Shipping, kitting, un-kitting, loading and unloading of trucks after being trained.
Be able to work peacefully with other co-workers as a team member (socially compatible) and be able to take orders from their superiors.
