Our client, a dynamic organization, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be part of the administrative support team, providing essential assistance to management. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Chesapeake, VA

Pay Range: $15.80/hour

Shift: Monday - Friday (including holidays), 8am - 4:30pm transitioning to Tuesday - Saturday 8am - 4:30 pm once converted to permanant staff

What's the Job?

Provide administrative and clerical support to management, including managing personnel records.

Screen telephone calls and visitors, redirecting as necessary.

Maintain departmental records and prepare reports for management.

Schedule meetings and appointments, arranging travel and accommodations as needed.

Operate office equipment and assist in processing payroll records.

What's Needed?

Two years of related experience preferred.

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, or a willingness to learn.

Familiarity with a multi-phone system and Microsoft Teams is a plus.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage confidential information.
