unwavering respect for every individual. Summary MSOE invites
applications for a part-time Lab Technician to join our dedicated School
of Nursing team. Reporting to the Lab Manager, the Lab Technician will
be responsible for assisting in the nursing skills lab and simulation
center. This individual will assist students who are strengthening their
nursing skills and participate in psychomotor skill performance testing
of students. They will also be involved with the set-up and take down of
labs and simulations and ensuring a clean and organized work
environment. Essential Job Functions Work with students in facilitated
lab to ensure evidence-based best practice in performance skills. Help
students to develop clinical reasoning in the performance of psychomotor
skills. Conduct psychomotor skill performance testing (Head-to-toe
assessment, vital signs) Assist faculty in NUR lab courses Finalize
simulation set-up and assist with debriefing. Operate and Manage
simulation equipment This list of duties and responsibilities is not
all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and
responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
Other Duties and Responsibilities Organization and cleaning of lab space
Attending training sessions Attending course meetings as needed
Qualifications BS in Nursing required Current and unencumbered Nursing
License Current CPR BLS Certification Knowledge and proficiency with
