Responsibilities

Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents and correspondence, including drafting pleadings and motions for family law cases

Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support case preparation

Maintain organized case files

Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings with clients and other parties involved in cases

Conduct client interviews to gather necessary information for case development

Provide administrative support including answering phones with professional etiquette, managing incoming correspondence, and maintaining office supplies

Assist in project management tasks to ensure timely completion of legal projects

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal/Assistant that is knowledgeable on family law cases to join our dynamic law office. The ideal candidate will support our legal team by performing a variety of administrative and paralegal tasks, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires strong organizational skills, familiarity with legal proc

esses, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications Previous experience in family law cases or similar environment is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent transcribing skills with attention to detail. Strong interviewing skills to effectively communicate with clients and gather necessary information. Proficient in using project management tools to track progress on various tasks. Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
