Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join a team on a long-term contract basis in Wayne, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will support essential accounting and administrative functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and documentation. Responsibilities:

Process and verify financial transactions in accordance with established procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Manage the timely execution of accounting activities for vendors and lessees, maintaining up-to-date records.

Coordinate payments and ensure the correct allocation of incoming funds, such as rentals and lease payments.

Organize and archive financial documents to meet legal and audit requirements and facilitate quick retrieval of information.

Generate reports and perform data analysis using Microsoft Excel to support decision-making processes.

Provide administrative support for accounting processes, including data entry, filing, and document management.

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth financial operations.

Assist with payment processing and invoice management to ensure timely payouts and accurate records.

Support senior accounting staff with additional tasks as needed, contributing to overall team efficiency.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

1-3 years of experience in accounting or administrative roles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including reporting and data analysis.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and archive financial documents effectively.

Familiarity with payment processing and accounts receivable functions.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Strong communication skills to collaborate with vendors, partners, and internal teams.

Experience with Oracle or similar financial systems is a plus.
