Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Procurement Support Specialist to assist with purchase order tracking, supplier communications, and data management. This role supports procurement operations by maintaining accurate records, resolving supplier-initiated changes, and ensuring timely updates to internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in cleaning and maintaining the Purchase Order (PO) log in Smartsheets by validating order receipts with requestors and developing a sustainable PO receipting process.

Support the triage and resolution of Supplier Initiated Changes (SICs) by identifying relevant changes, initiating actions in MasterControl, and following up with responsible parties.

Track and update purchase order statuses, ensuring requesters are informed of progress and any delays.

Log and monitor testing POs that have been issued.

Contact vendors to obtain manufacturing addresses and help close gaps in the Approved Supplier List (ASL).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word

Strong written communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is a plus, but training can be provided

2-4 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or administrative support

Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with procurement systems and tools (e.g., Smartsheets, MasterControl)

Experience in a regulated or manufacturing environment

Understanding of supplier management and documentation processes

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
