Job Title: Furniture Warehouse Helper

Job Description

Join our non-profit organization as a Warehouse Helper, where you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission by efficiently loading and unloading furniture for deliveries. Your contributions will help us serve the community, as you also manage warehouse orders and handle donated furniture.

Responsibilities

Load and unload furniture onto and off trucks for deliveries.

Organize and manage warehouse orders when deliveries are not scheduled.

Handle furniture donations from the community, ensuring proper storage and organization.

Communicate effectively with clients to arrange drop-off and pick-up times for donations.

Maintain inventory and perform general labor tasks within the warehouse.

Essential Skills

Experience in loading, packing, picking, and order pulling.

Proficiency in unloading, loading, and shipping and receiving.

Strong communication skills to liaise with clients regarding donation logistics.

Ability to lift heavy furniture and perform general labor tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in warehousing and delivery operations.

Capability to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
