We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join a legal team in Honolulu, Hawaii, on a contract basis. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to perform a variety of administrative and legal support tasks. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have experience in administrative roles, this position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a legal team. Responsibilities:

Perform court e-filing to ensure timely submission of legal documents.

Manage and input timesheets accurately for tracking and payroll purposes.

Prepare and edit prebills with precision to support billing processes.

Maintain an organized calendar and schedule appointments to ensure deadlines are met.

Provide administrative support to attorneys and staff, including proofreading and document preparation.

Assist in drafting and editing legal pleadings and correspondence.

Handle mail processing and email communications efficiently.

Conduct data entry with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

Utilize Microsoft Word and other computer applications to complete tasks effectively.

Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of recent administrative experience in a detail-oriented setting.

Ability to @type at a speed of 60 words per minute or higher.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other computer applications.

Strong proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail.

Exceptional organizational abilities and time management skills.

Capability to provide reminders and keep attorneys on track with schedules.

Previous experience in litigation or legal environments preferred, but not required. TalentMatch®
