Executive Assistant, Current Series (Disney Branded Television)

We are seeking an Executive Assistant to support the VPs of Original Programming for Disney Junior. This role will provide overall administrative support on two busy desks.

Responsibilities

Support the VPs in Original Programming for Disney Junior, by managing their busy, high-volume calendars, scheduling meetings, screening and prioritizing all incoming phone calls, meeting requests, ordering supplies, coordinating travel, managing and tracking expense reports and coordinating department off-sites and events.

Responsible for meeting set-up, and follow-up: preparing creative materials, booking rooms, test and set up all IT needs, arranging catering, documenting notes as needed, and coordinating follow-up items to completion.

Preparing decks for internal and external creative presentations, including editing clips and mocking up creative materials.

Responsible for updating the department project report, talent lists, pitch logs and overall organization of all development materials.

Assist with any special projects and help other team members as needed.

Required Qualifications

1+ year of experience as an administrative assistant; entertainment, network or talent agency experience preferred.

Ability to communicate with professionalism with all levels of executives, management, and staff, including high-level entertainment industry talent, agents, vendors, and with a diverse set of personalities and work styles.

Self-motivated, highly-organized, works well under pressure, and excellent follow-through skills.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks strategically with a high level of detail and accuracy.

Must be creative minded, innovative, solutions-oriented and efficient.

Demonstrated ability to partner well with other administrative staff, internal and external stakeholders, and build strong, effective relationships.

Proficiency with Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite, Apple Keynote, Adobe Photoshop, Final Cut and Final Draft.

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of administrative assistant experience in entertainment at a network or talent agency.

Prior experience working with animation content is desirable.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $53,300 to $71,300 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
