As a member of the senior leadership team, the VP & CFO participates in key organizational decisions, drives business strategy and provides oversight to ensure the overall financial well-being of the company. The VP & CFO oversees the Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology and Quality functions for the organization and will bring insightful analysis and disciplined control to drive continuous improvement in these areas to ensure the effective execution of department goals and company initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide key leadership in corporate and operational financial functions including financial and operational control, business integration, planning, forecasting and analysis, cash flow and taxes.

Partner closely with the CEO to lead the company and increase overall profitability; develop the organization's long-range and short-range strategic financial plan; execute the organization's financial strategy; provide financial insight, guidance and education to support decision making and planning.

Direct accounting policies, procedures and internal controls to comply with new or existing statutory, regulatory, or contractual requirements. Ensure record keeping meets auditors and government requirements.

Proactively address P&L issues that arise across the business and drive resolution collaboratively. Champion business modeling and analysis to more deeply understand and communicate business performance.

Responsible for management oversight of accounting; billing, financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, inventory accounting, cost accounting, revenue recognition, audits, procurement, contract administration and documents and record management.

Develop and maintain internal control guidelines, policies and procedures for budget accounting, cash and credit management, administration, and other activities.

Monitor all legal issues involving the organization, ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory, contractual, and organizational requirements. Reports risks to CEO and senior leadership team.

Partners with global finance leaders on operational metrics and business processes to ensure compliance with organizational standards and reporting.

Oversee the organization's IT strategies in the areas of privacy and security, infrastructure, hardware, software, applications and data center management.

Oversee the organization's Human Resources strategies in the areas of benefits administration, compensation analysis, employee relations, federal and legal compliance, training and development, records management, talent acquisition and retention.

Oversee the organization's ISO program and standards including processes, procedures, policies, audits, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent

More than 10 years of related experience required; experience in a CFO position or similar capacity

Project accounting & SAP S/4Hana experience

Certified Public Accountant license preferred

Thorough knowledge of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

Strong analytical skills and experience with managing accounting processes and financial information.

Demonstrated proficiency with accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and policies & procedures.

Excellent problem-solving skills with complex accounting issues

Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, direct and evaluate the work of multiple, cross-functional departments

Ability to interpret complex fiscal, governmental (and other) regulatory information

Excellent communication with staff and strong oral and written communications.

Self-motivated with a strong commitment to get the job/task done well and on-time in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Highly organized with keen attention to detail and accuracy.

Demonstrated leadership ability.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with German HGB accounting standards.
