Job Summary and Qualifications
The Division Director of Supply Chain Operations (DDSCO) is responsible for leading, implementing, measuring, and directing select supply chain operations within Surgery Ventures Group. Also provides operational direction to SVG facilities and assists with the implementation of Corporate directed initiatives as well as other activities assigned by the executive team. DDSCO is responsible for building strategic relationships with direct reports, executive team, and key stakeholders in each division of SVG to perform required services successfully. Responsible for onboarding and education of Regional Materials Manager team for SVG, and provides leadership guidance regarding supply processes to all facilities. This individual is responsible for leading change positively and seeking to understand, meet and exceed customer needs.
What you will do:
Provide leadership and strategic direction in Supply Chain Operations and supply expense management.
Collaborates with Division/Facility Senior Leadership and provides Division, Facility and Companywide strategy related to the Supply Chain.
Routinely works with Division Clinical Resource Director in support of clinical initiatives and the VPO on contract initiatives.
Communicates strategic recommendations and executes a course of action for overall improvement in operations, and expense management.
Participate in the creation and/or implementation of tools and best practices.
Develop and implement policies and procedures that guide and support service level expectations.
Create a supportive environment for supply chain staff development through coordination, management, and evaluation of direct report.
Raise and resolve facility based supply chain issue for improvement opportunities.
Coordinate and drive efforts to enable supply improvement initiatives (SII) to succeed within the market/division.
Facilitate the standardization of products and optimize supply utilization through effective collaboration with key stakeholders within market/division.
Actively collaborates with leaders to optimize operations through contract updates/changes, expense management, savings opportunities.
Provides support to the facilities for monthly Supply Expense variance explanations in the absence of a division RMM and provides education for variance explanations to new RMMs.
Insure useful knowledge is captured and promote sharing of information.
Authorized to transport and deliver legend drugs, non-prescription drugs, contrast media and drug-containing devices relative to core competencies of the position
Provide leadership and strategic direction in Supply Chain Operations and supply expense management.
Collaborates with Division/Facility Senior Leadership and provides Division, Facility and Companywide strategy related to the Supply Chain.
What qualifications you will need:
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain, or healthcare related field.
Minimum of 3 years management experience, preferably in a multi-facility/center.
Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP), Certified Value Analysis Health Professional (CVAHP), or similar credential preferred.
