Job Summary and Qualifications
Facilitates the integration and teamwork of Cardiovascular services to ensure optimal care of patients. Ensures the development and implementation of the service line business plan, driving profitable service line growth, and improving operations in terms of quality and processes. Collaboratively works with physicians to adopt and incorporate quality initiatives and increase physician/hospital alignment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
What you will do in this role:
Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for service line development to include business plan development, feasibility studies, market analysis/research, service-line performance evaluation. In conjunction with facility/market leadership, evaluates services at respective facilities for scope, depth of service, physician manpower, financial feasibility, potential expansion and opportunities to create market synergies and leverage in service overlap.
Develops and fosters effective collaboration between clinical departments, medical staff leadership, and other affiliated services to ensure an integrated approach to providing care and services.
Demonstrates responsibility and accountability in managing productivity standards. Continuously evaluates and assesses staff assignment, and work process/design to enhance productivity and service delivery to meet stakeholder expectations and business goals.
Ensures the development of long and short term service-line growth strategies and establishes benchmarks for reporting.
What qualifications you will need:
Bachelor's Degree in health related field. Master's Degree preferred.
Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations; or Cardiovascular Tech Preferred
Minimum of 5 years progressive management experience. 3-5+ years cardiac clinician experience.
Organizational, Interpersonal, Customer relations, Mathematical, Analytical, Grammar/Spelling, ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Project planning and management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
