We are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role combines traditional clerical duties with meaningful opportunities to provide nutrition and breastfeeding education to WIC clients. The ideal candidate will also assist our nursing staff with medical services, including immunizations, and support billing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general clerical duties, including answering phones,

scheduling appointments, and maintaining records.

Provide nutrition and breastfeeding education to WIC clients in

accordance with program guidelines.

Assist nurses with medical services and managing patient flow.

Support billing activities, including data entry.

Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational

policies.

Collaborate with team members to ensure the efficient delivery of

services to clients.

Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in

healthcare, nutrition, or related fields is a plus.

Experience in administrative or clerical roles, preferably in a

healthcare setting.

Great customer service skills, with the ability to provide

compassionate client support.

Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a team

environment.

Knowledge of nutrition, breastfeeding, and/or WIC program guidelines

is a plus.

Active Driver\'s License and vehicle liability insurance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: \$13.00 - \$15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
