Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and maintenance of cost systems and processes to ensure accurate pricing, cost analysis, and reporting.

Prepare cost accounting reports, including standard cost updates, variance analysis, and recommendations.

Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, production processes, and profitability.

Reconcile inventory valuations and develop cost savings initiatives collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning related to cost management.

Work closely with the operations and finance teams to provide actionable insights into cost efficiencies and financial performance.

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required.

2+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial @context.

Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills are a plus.

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multiple departments and present data effectively.

Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and cost accounting standards.
