As a Technical Product Manager on the Consumer & Business Intelligence Team, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you're responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Consumer and Business Intelligence is a new organization that monitors, coordinates, and develops a holistic internal & external view of the financial well-being of consumers and businesses through the lens of JPMC data. To succeed in this role you'll need to be both a visionary and a detail-oriented executor. You'll work alongside our cross-functional team of product designers, user researchers, technologists, strategists, data scientists, and economists to build a product from the ground up. You will leverage your deep knowledge of technology, data, and analytics to develop innovative solutions with a seamless user experience that will deliver macroeconomic insights products to clients.
Job responsibilities
Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
Drives a roadmap to deliver cloud-based, enterprise-scale solutions that support macroeconomic data analysis amongst a variety of user groups
Collaborates with a cross-functional team of designers, user researchers, engineers, and data scientists to deliver customer-focused, end-to-end solutions
Develops enablement tools that allow economists and other internal users to derive data-driven insights and package them up into user-friendly deliverables
Develops foundational capabilities (datasets, APIs, visual components, activity logging, etc.) that will be leveraged across the Consumer & Business Intelligence product ecosystem
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
Knowledge of big data technologies, data / software engineering and cloud / on-prem architecture
Experience building technical products / tools for users with varying degrees of technical acumen
Expertise in Python and SQL for practical data analysis and cleansing, modeling (machine learning, time series, NLP), and visualization
Experience publishing datasets for consumption
Exceptional analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and communication skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
Foundational understanding of macroeconomics
Detail oriented and passionate about delivering customer-focused, end-to-end solutions
