The Issues Execution Specialist I is responsible for delivering on the end-to-end management and remediation of a subset of a Business Unit risk issues portfolio of risk issues with moderate to low complexity. This role enables the execution of issue remediation by partnering with business unit leaders and risk advisors to appropriately design, document, sequence, and manage remediation of control gaps or weaknesses. This teammate is responsible for executing issues remediation in accordance with the process and enterprise requirements. Facilitates the interaction with business unit partners including where it is in the lifecycle, roadblocks, challenges, and upcoming artifacts for 1LOD review and assurance. Teammate will be responsible for updating Archer to ensure data and workflow for each issue is update timely and accurately through periodic check ins with issue owners and line of defense stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Deliver a sub-set of risk issues with moderate or low complexity, ensuring timely and effective execution of remediation plans.
Partner with issue owners to support consistent issue management practices.
Ensure alignment to enterprise issue management standards, internal policies, and regulatory guidelines.
Update Archer data for individual issues to ensure accuracy within system of record.
Partner with 1LOD review and assurance team to ensure upcoming artifacts are appropriately documented for assurance pipeline management.
Facilitate the tracking of progress on issue remediation plans, identify roadblocks, and escalate challenges as needed.
Facilitate regular reviews and challenge sessions with stakeholders to assess the quality and completeness of remediation efforts.
Support the coordination with Enterprise Issues Management and the broader Risk Management Organization in the second line of defense to ensure requirements are met for individual issues.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, Finance or science/academic field, or equivalent education and related training or experience.
3+ years of progressive related experience in risk functions leading or supporting issue remediation efforts at scale.
High attention to detail and ability to think critically and strategically, multi-task, and drive change.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
Strong meeting management, conflict management, and executive presentation skills.
Results-oriented and demonstrated ability to work under difficult time constraints and required delivery dates.
Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.
