The Supplier Decarbonization team is seeking a Sr. PM, Supplier Engagement to lead our supplier decarbonization program management efforts across Amazon's business units. In this role, you will establish and maintain reporting mechanisms for tracking internal performance metrics, facilitate cross-WWS and BU functional collaboration, and drive successful engagement with key top suppliers through a structured supplier engagement program. You'll run regular business reviews with leadership, manage monthly/quarterly/annual goal reporting cycles, and ensure effective execution of our company-wide decarbonization goals.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in supplier engagement and strong program management skills to drive execution and reporting. They should excel at managing complex stakeholder relationships, building scalable processes, and leveraging automation and third-party platforms to streamline operations. Success requires exceptional organizational and communication abilities, experience developing effective goal tracking and reporting systems, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams. A background in sustainability and supplier engagement is required.
Key job responsibilities
Design and manage comprehensive tracking systems for supplier decarbonization goals and progress
Establish and run monthly business reviews with stakeholders and leadership to report on key metrics and program health; support quarterly and annual reporting cycles.
Facilitate regular syncs with business unit sustainability teams to align on goals, track progress and share knowledge/best practices.
Lead the implementation of supplier decarbonization plans for key segments or top suppliers, including target setting and emissions reporting
Monitor supplier progress and provide structured support to help them achieve their goals
Identify and implement process improvements to scale supplier engagement effectively
Develop clear communication channels and escalation paths for supplier engagement
Design and manage industry-specific accelerator programs to drive emissions reductions from key suppliers
Basic Qualifications
7+ yrs. of experience in program or project management, with a focus on scaling processes or operations.
Experience in sustainability, supplier engagement, or procurement, specifically related to environment or decarbonization initiatives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop scalable tools and processes.
Experience working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders, including the ability to manage complex partnerships.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence decision-makers and collaborate effectively with global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
10+ yrs. of experience in sustainability or supply chain, with a focus on scaling supplier engagement or decarbonization programs.
Proven experience developing and implementing scalable systems, leveraging automation and third-party platforms to streamline supplier data collection and engagement.
Familiarity with sustainability standards and carbon reporting frameworks (e.g., GHG Protocol, CDP, SASB).
Experience integrating sustainability metrics into procurement processes and decision-making.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) to track supplier performance and decarbonization progress.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to drive results through collaboration across various business units and external partners.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $125,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $207,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
