Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the operations of a well-respected educational organization in Hawaii. This role offers a great opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven environment focused on student success and educational excellence. Due to the nature of the work and the need for close collaboration with onsite staff and faculty, preference will be given to candidates who currently reside in Hawaii. Key Responsibilities:

Provide general administrative support including scheduling, document preparation, and data entry

Answer phones, manage email communication, and greet visitors in a professional manner

Maintain organized filing systems, both digital and paper

Assist with event planning, internal communications, and departmental coordination

Support faculty and staff with clerical needs, supply inventory, and special projects

Uphold confidentiality and follow organizational protocols and policies

Requirements

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

Minimum 2 years of administrative experience, ideally in an educational or nonprofit setting

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage time effectively

Team player with a professional and welcoming demeanor
