Job Title: Electrical Assistant Project Manager

Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager will provide administrative support for project management activities for multiple ongoing utility construction projects simultaneously. This role involves handling purchase orders, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), project cash flows, and accruals. The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with the project management team to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of projects.

Responsibilities

Manage and process purchase orders and change orders.

Handle RFIs and ensure timely responses.

Monitor and report on project cash flows and accruals.

Provide administrative support to the project management team.

Assist in coordinating project activities and schedules.

Maintain accurate project documentation and records.

Essential Skills

Experience in construction, RFIs, and change orders.

Knowledge of project budgeting, including cash flows and accruals.

Proficiency in project management.

Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Data entry skills within Excel and Word.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in utility, commercial, or general contracting construction.

A proactive individual who takes ownership, is a quick learner, and possesses intelligence.

Work Environment

This is an on-site position, with the office opening in Richmond, VA, mid to late July. The individual can work in Richmond, VA, or Cloverdale, with the latter being preferable. The first 6-8 weeks will involve training in Cloverdale, with expenses covered.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $38.46/hr.
