Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist for a contract to permanent opportunity in Apopka, Florida. This position offers a blend of accounting responsibilities and administrative tasks related to vehicle title processing. The role is ideal for professionals with a solid foundation in accounting who are eager to expand their expertise into title and administrative functions.

Responsibilities:

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks to ensure timely financial reporting.

Manage general ledger entries and reconcile accounts to maintain accuracy in financial records.

Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets.

Support accounts payable and receivable processes as needed.

Process vehicle title and registration documents in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Maintain organized and accurate records of title-related paperwork and transactions.

Provide administrative support during periods of reduced title processing activity.

Collaborate with the accounting team to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all accounting and administrative tasks.

Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, including general ledger and balance sheet work.

Previous experience as a Title Clerk is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial document preparation.

Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies.

Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Self-driven and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and account reconciliation processes.
