Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a leading manufacturing company in Grapevine, Texas. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to play a key role in managing accounts receivable processes while collaborating with a dynamic and supportive team. The ideal candidate will excel in customer account management, credit handling, and reconciliation tasks to ensure seamless financial operations.

Responsibilities:

Process and evaluate credit applications, ensuring accuracy and maintaining proper documentation.

Set up and maintain customer accounts, ensuring all information is current and accurate.

Issue credit memos to customers and resolve any related inquiries or discrepancies.

Investigate outstanding credit issues and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.

Monitor account activity to manage credit holds and approve timely releases.

Collaborate with sales and other internal teams to address account inquiries and troubleshoot issues.

Manage Salesforce cases related to customer accounts and credit matters.

Reconcile customer accounts, resolving open balances and maintaining accurate records.

Handle specialized customer documentation, including tax-exempt certificates and lien release requests.

Support general accounting operations by performing additional tasks as needed. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable processes, including cash applications and collections.

Strong understanding of credit management and credit application processes.

Proficiency in using Salesforce and other relevant accounting software.

Ability to analyze and resolve account discrepancies with attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.

Familiarity with reconciling customer accounts and managing unapplied payments.

Experience in handling specialized documentation, such as tax-exempt certificates.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
