Job Title: Physical Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team and provide direct patient care. This role involves evaluating patients, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapy to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall function. The ideal candidate is committed to patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and collaborative teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver 100% direct patient care, including thorough documentation in medical records.

Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to each patient's condition and goals.

Administer physical therapy treatments such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and home exercise programs.

Fabricate and/or distribute upper extremity orthotics (finger, hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder) as needed.

Perform and document relevant tests and measurements, including strength, range of motion, sensory function, and circulatory efficiency.

Monitor and reassess patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans to maximize outcomes.

Accurately document treatments, patient responses, and outcomes in compliance with federal and state regulations.

Select and apply appropriate CPT codes and submit billing in alignment with services rendered.

Ensure compliance with insurance requirements, including authorizations, referrals, and treatment plans.

Supervise physical therapist assistants and support staff in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

Support student learning through supervision of clinical rotations or observations, as applicable.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated, effective care.

Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and professional development activities.

Assist with clinic operations, including flexible scheduling and occasional coverage at other locations.

Maintain all required licenses and certifications, including completion of continuing education units (CEUs).

May be required to work two evening shifts per week and occasional Saturdays based on clinic hours.

Perform other duties as assigned to support patient care and clinic success.

Qualifications:

Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program required.

Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.

Strong clinical reasoning and patient assessment skills.

Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Experience with EMR systems and knowledge of billing practices preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

401kQuarterly Bonuses 4 weeks PTO health care Paid continued education

This is a fully onsite position in Annapolis,MD.
