The Consumer Marketing team is committed to bringing DoorDash's mission of empowering local economies to life for our millions of consumers. To bring this mission to life and achieve our North Star Goal, we have sharpened our focus on solving the biggest consumer problems through engaging, relevant tests, product and feature launches, and creating scaled marketing strategies and campaigns that surprise, delight, and engage a variety of customers across a number of use cases and categories. Ultimately, the Consumer Marketing team strives to "Get more people to do more with DoorDash more often". As a part of the New Verticals, we are accountable for growing the New Vertical business through habituation and affordability levers, and make an impact by exercising influence, collaboration, and creative problem-solving across teams.
About the Role
We are looking to bring on a strategic, ultra-organized and solution-oriented marketer to drive some of the key work streams on New Business Verticals. You will report into the Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing on our New Verticals Integrated Marketing team in our Consumer Integrated Marketing organization. The ideal candidate should be able to think about the business like a GM, drive forward highly cross-functional projects like a product manager, and understand how to speak to our customers like a seasoned marketer. We're looking for someone with a proven track record of hitting aggressive business goals, managing complex marketing campaigns, and communicating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders within marketing (brand marketing, growth & paid marketing, CRM, and product marketing) and outside of marketing (Strategy & Operations, Finance, Product, and Analytics), with a focus on Cx affordability, retention & spend. They must be able to think big picture and paint a long-term vision and story one moment, and seamlessly transition to diving into the weeds across performance marketing, analytics, product, operations and creative the next. They also keep a strong pulse on business performance to lead the marketing team through complex challenges on a weekly basis. They have experience building consensus with large cross-functional teams, building trusted relationships with senior leaders, and excel at making data-informed, analytical decisions to accomplish marketing and business objectives.

Thrive as the central liaison between Marketing teams, Strategy & Operations, Product, Finance, Analytics and other departments to build and execute on a holistic and integrated marketing strategy
Lead Affordability marketing initiatives E2E from brief to creative and media/channel reviews, to results across influencer programs, paid media strategies, A/B tests, partnerships, in-app marketing, etc.
Create marketing strategies to increase Cx spend, retention, and convey our affordability initiatives in a compelling way.
Help define and prioritize requirements for key cross-functional initiatives, working cross-functionally to identify solutions, serving as the subject matter expert / liaison for partner organizations during planning
Partner with Strategy & Operations and key cross-functional Marketing leads to set the right goals and KPIs for each campaign, and work with marketing partners to create integrated plans to achieve these goals
Work to support new business lines and expansion opportunities, such as DashMart, through advocating and unlocking marketing resourcing/budgets
Communicate with the cross-functional partners on the status and progress of initiatives, how the team is tracking towards goals, and proactively identify and flag risks to leadership as well as mitigation strategies
Be responsible for tracking new verticals marketing initiatives, performance metrics across functions, reporting progress out to org proactively developing the processes and identifying risks and building mitigation strategies in partnership with marketing teams
Build models and frameworks for budgeting, campaign tracking, and goal forecasting
Partner with Marketing leadership and key cross-functional leads to build and deliver investment asks, and/or planning & headcount deliverables
We're excited about you because...
Have 6+ years experience in B2C marketing, preferably with mix of paid/growth marketing
2 years or more in consulting, or operations a plus
Strong excel skills required; basic SQL a plus
Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills, ability to organize information in a high level way to communicate key points to partners and internal stakeholders
Strong project management and organizational experience, including tracking calendars/trackers, setting DRIs, and following up relentlessly to hit goals
Demonstrate a bias for action and aren't afraid to build processes where they don't exist, or to build relationships across the organization that will help accelerate marketing
Ability to synthesize data, make data-driven decisions and balance quantitative measurement with an intuition-driven bias to action
Proven ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment, with a strong bias to action

Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.
$129,200 - $190,000 USD
